Waking From The Long Slumber
Cinnamon is in the chair beside me. My mom and dad are out with friends for the evening. My hubby has gotten his shopping out of the way for the day and has pledged to let me have severalĀ hours to myself to write. Need I say that I am completely stoked about this?
To add icing to that cake, I took a look at my work schedule online. (Yes they have everything online.) I get a long weekend next weekend while they try to get us on target for our regular schedules. So, Lee and I are going to get the kid and head to a hotel for the weekend which will give me time and space to write, they can go see movies, and I’ll actually be productive.
But right now, I’m rather blissful and gearing up to get started on AR once again. I’ve been accumulating notes for the plot and pieces of dialogue that I want to add to the manuscript. When calls are relatively slow at work, it isn’t half bad. I can make notes even if I can’t make drafting a priority. And now that I”m on the floor, I can actually get away from everyone in order to do a little writing on the manuscript, blog, or other drafts during breaks.
AR is starting to get into full swing though. I’m really looking forward to working on it all and getting the characters more developed. Michael is starting to come together more now. Not just the sentinel figure that he was in the beginning. So, this is going to be good stuff when I’m done with it all.
Anyway off to take advantage of the time I have tonight. Music on, coffee made, I’m good to go now.
